Repair Cafe - Central Coast
Join us at SparkCC Makerspace Repair Café and give your broken or worn household items a second life with help from our friendly volunteers.
Our Repair Café is a welcoming, community-led event where Central Coast locals can bring in everyday items and repair them with tools & guidance from volunteer repairers. Instead of throwing things away, we’ll work together to troubleshoot, mend, and restore what we can, saving money, reducing waste, and sharing practical skills along the way.
🧵 What can you bring?
We welcome a wide range of everyday items that might need a little care, repair or attention, including:
-
Clothing and textiles
-
Small household items
-
Simple electronics
-
Toys
-
Small furniture
-
Bikes and bike maintenance items
-
General repairs
If you’re not sure whether your item is suitable, contact us via social media or through the event page, and we’ll be happy to help.
⚠️ A few important things to know
Our Repair Café is a community event where repairs are carried out yourself with the help of our volunteers. We’ll always do our best, but not every item can be repaired on the day.
To help the event run smoothly:
-
Please bring 1–2 items only so we can assist as many people as possible
-
Bring any parts, chargers, cables or accessories that go with your item
-
Please stay with your item while you work with a volunteer
-
If an item can’t be repaired, it will need to be taken home with you
🌱 Why come along?
Repair Café is all about repair, reuse and reconnect. It’s a friendly, hands-on way to reduce waste, save money, learn practical skills, and meet others who care about making things last. Whether you come to fix something, learn something new, or simply be part of the community, you’ll be helping grow a stronger repair culture on the Central Coast.
