Multi-award-winning Country Music Queen Gina Jeffreys paved the way for women in Australian country music in the ’90s, becoming the first female artist in Aussie country to achieve platinum record sales and sell out shows across the nation.

After bursting onto the scene in 1991, when she won the iconic Toyota Star Maker, Gina quickly became the face of Australian country music. In 1994, she opened for Johnny Cash on a national tour, winning the hearts of Australia. That tour introduced Gina to a fan base she may never have met and taught her how music could touch people’s hearts.

Gina went on to tour Australia and many places around the world. Visiting the troops in East Timor was a real highlight, where she sang alongside John Farnham and Kylie Minogue. Another unforgettable moment came in 1998, when Gina represented Australia in a spectacular New Year’s Eve concert in China, broadcast live to more than a billion people.

Hit songs such as “Girls’ Night Out” became anthems for country girls across Australia, while chart-topping albums and multiple Golden Guitar Awards cemented her place in Australian country music. In 2003, Gina and her husband, record producer Rod McCormack, welcomed their son Jacky, and Gina chose to step out of the spotlight to raise him, never wanting to miss a kiss goodnight or a football game.

More than 30 years after it all began, Gina is still wowing crowds on stage and behind the scenes, mentoring and penning chart-topping songs for the next generation. True to what she learnt from Johnny Cash, Gina continues to pay it forward and take new young artists on the road.

Joining Gina is Rod McCormack, long recognised as one of Australia’s leading musicians, songwriters and record producers. Rod has written over 30 number one country hits, produced numerous gold and platinum albums and appeared on thousands of albums and soundtracks. Named CMAA Producer of the Year in 2004, 2008 and 2010, he became the inaugural CMAA Musician of the Year in 2006.

Completing the line-up is Bryce Sainty, one of Australia’s fastest-rising contemporary country artists. With more than five million career streams, Bryce is known for authentic songwriting, powerful live shows and a modern country sound. He has performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and Deni Ute Muster, toured with The Wolfe Brothers, and continues to build momentum through songs including “COUNTRY” and “Wild and Free”.
