At the heart of Woodie McClean's music is a simple belief - a great song will always find its way to people.

The Central Coast singer-songwriter draws from soul, jazz, blues, country rock and americana to craft songs that are timeless, honest and rich in melody which underpin his debut EP, Words in Mind.

Woodie's reputation has been built on the stage. He has shared bills with Australian icons Richard Clapton and Kasey Chambers, as well as legendary blues outfit Bondi Cigars, while his music has received national airplay on ABC Radio Australia's All Over program.

Whether performing solo, alongside his father in The McCleans, or fronting Newcastle band Glover's Lane, Woodie brings song before spectacle and invites audiences to share in honest and heartfelt storytelling.
