Moving Image Gallery

dhiyang gayung-ba is a unique collaboration between NAISDA and Box of Birds, commissioned by Gosford Regional Gallery. It pushes the boundaries of contemporary First Nations dance and immersive technologies, inspired by local stories of Darkinjung spirits and this Country.
Created by a team of First Nations and Non-Indigenous Artists led by David Clarkson (Box of Birds) and Independent First Nations Artist Glory Tuohy-Daniell, with cultural supervision by Aunty Bronwyn Chambers, dhiyang gayung-ba can be experienced as both a live performance and an immersive moving image installation. Filmed on Country with recent and current NAISDA graduates and a team of digital artists from Box of Birds, this spectacular immersive experience.
