Axel Starviking

Axel StarViking is an internationally acclaimed vocalist, multidisciplinary artist and theatrical performer whose career spans more than four decades across South Africa, Europe and Australia. Classically trained in the bel canto tradition, Axel combines exceptional vocal technique with cinematic storytelling, electronic soundscapes and striking visual design to create performances that are as emotionally powerful as they are unforgettable.

A long-time supporter of the Central Coast arts community, Axel has performed throughout Gosford for many years and is proud to call the region home. In 2026 he was selected as one of the inaugural recipients of From Gosford With Love, the prestigious Tour Ready artist development program presented by FunHaus Factory in partnership with Central Coast Council. The program recognised artists with exceptional creative vision and strong touring potential, supporting them to take locally created work to audiences far beyond the Central Coast.

His latest live concert experience, INTERGALACTICA, is a genre-defying journey through electronic pop, rock, folk and cinematic sound, woven together with stories of transformation, resilience and hope. Every performance is elevated by Axel's signature StarViking wearable art, including elaborate crowns and sculptural costumes that transform the stage into an immersive visual spectacle.

Whether performing in intimate venues or on festival stages, Axel is renowned for creating genuine connection with audiences through humour, authenticity and a voice that moves effortlessly from delicate vulnerability to soaring power.
